One festival companion

Everything you need before the gates open—and after the signal disappears.

01

Explore the grounds

Pan, zoom, center on your position, follow your heading, and open rich place details right from the map.

02

Find anything fast

Search stages, vendors, food, services, landmarks, and shows, with nearby results when location is available.

03

Plan around showtime

Browse performances, see time and stage information, then jump from a show to its location.

04

Keep going offline

Save the current festival dataset and map content so the essentials remain available during spotty service.

05

Play on the grounds

Solve location-based riddles, check in at each answer, collect the fragments, and rescue the Queen.

06

Coordinate by radio

Create private groups, message your crew, and share positions through compatible Meshtastic hardware.

Map & offline

A festival map that still knows the way.

See stages, shops, food, services, landmarks, and other festival places on a detailed interactive map. Use the locate and heading controls to orient yourself, tap a marker for details, and download the festival content before cell service gets busy.

  • Pan, zoom, locate, compass heading, and clustered map markers
  • Place details without losing your position on the map
  • Offline festival data and map content for weak-service areas

Search & details

From “I need coffee” to “where is that stage?”

  • Search places, vendors, food, services, landmarks, and performances
  • Category filters and highlighted matches
  • Distance-aware results when you grant location access

  • Riddle-based clues tied to real locations
  • On-device progress that survives a break in play
  • A complete start-to-finish festival adventure

Optional Meshtastic groups

Stay connected when the internet is not.

Pair RenMap with a compatible Meshtastic radio over Bluetooth. Create a private group or join one by scanning its invite QR code, then send group and direct messages over the LoRa mesh.

  • Private group creation and QR-code invites
  • Group chats and direct messages over compatible radios
  • Consensual member locations displayed on the festival map
  • Optional internet-backed synchronization when connectivity is available
  • Objectionable-language filtering, message reporting, and local blocking

Mesh delivery depends on radio range, device permissions, local conditions, and the radios carried by your group. RenMap and Meshtastic are not emergency services.

Optional hardware

Add a pocket-size radio for the full mesh experience.

RenMap v1 is designed and tested around the SenseCAP Card Tracker T1000-E for Meshtastic. It combines Bluetooth, GNSS positioning, and long-range LoRa mesh communication in a compact, rechargeable device.
