Before contacting support
- For missing map content, reconnect to the internet and reopen RenMap to refresh the dataset.
- For location trouble, confirm Precise Location is enabled for RenMap in iOS Settings.
- For radio trouble, confirm Bluetooth is enabled and the Meshtastic radio is powered and nearby.
- For notifications, open iOS Settings, choose RenMap, then enable Notifications.
- Include your RenMap version, iPhone or iPad model, iOS version, and steps that reproduce the problem.
Mesh messaging safety
You can report an incoming message from its message card and block a sender from the person or chat view. Blocking hides that sender’s messages on your device. Reports open a prepared email so you can review the details before sending them to our safety contact.
RenMap and Meshtastic are not emergency services. If anyone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or onsite event security.
Response expectations
We review safety reports as promptly as practical and prioritize credible threats, targeted harassment, and illegal content. General support response time can vary during festival weekends.
